film 919162. There are many Susannah Colleys in the IGI - this is the entry
that best fits time & place.

FHL film 1657074; Identified only as Richard s of Richard Nelson. I (Vauna
Green) am not 100% convinced that this is the same Richard Nelson since his
other children were all born in Welton, but I see no other Richard Nelsons
bearing children in Hull at this time. The couple married in Hull and Susannah
seems to have been from Hull. Perhaps she went to her mother's to have the baby
and the baby didn't live and was buried in Hull.

Mother's name is listed as Ann Nelson. . .But. . .1) I find no other Richard
Nelsons of his generation living in Welton, 2) There are no other children of a
Richard and Ann Nelson chr in Welton at all, 3) Richard's father's name being
William--this child could have been named after him, 4) Richard's wife name was
SusANNah and she was from Hull and the family seems to have only recently moved
back to Welton from Hull--perhaps the clerk heard her name wrong. Still I'm not
sure this is their child.
