agrees with father's name given in marriage record. This is the only Mary
Ruddiforth in the IGI that fits for time, place & father's name. Note John
& Eleanor Ruddiforth later appear in Bishop Burton Parish Register as
parents of children being christened beginning 1823. This John Ruddiforth is a
cordwainer / shoemaker.
