Elaine Harris/Sue Laing located this birth in the indexes at the HRO. The entry
confirms her birth on 17 Aug 1850. She was born at 1 Mary's Place, Raywell
Street, Hull (not far from the old town area of Hull though the registration
district is Sculcoates and the sub-district as West Sculcoates.) The birth
record shows her name to be Eliza--not Eliza Roxie. Apparently the
"Roxie" was added after the family emigrated to Utah. Copies of the
certificate in possession of the researchers.
