Lawrence Bartholomew Peterson, age 81, passed away May 23, 1995 at
He was born April 30, 1914 in the Old Hazen Steven's home in
He and his wife, Lula, enjoyed running a floral shop for over 25 years.
Lawrence was a very compassionate person, involving himself in community
service and was active in the LDS Church, holding many positions which included
serving as Bishop of the Fillmore 2nd Ward for 12 and a half years. He loved to
fish, hunt and he enjoyed the outdoors. He loved and inspired his grandchildren
and great-grandchildren.
Survivors, wife, Fillmore; daughters and sons, (LIVING); 15 grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; sisters (LIVING).
Preceded in death by a brother, Victor and a baby daughter, Colleen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 1995 at 11 a.m., in the
Fillmore 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 300 East 500 South, Fillmore. Friends may call
Friday 6-8 p.m. at the Olpin Mortuary, 55 West 200 South, Fillmore and on
Saturday, one hour prior to services at the church.
