PARENTS: Letter from Beth Swalberg Davis, in poss of Vauna Kelly: "On the LDS Church records her father is listed as Carl August Swalberg Jr, but he died 2 yrs before her birth.  She always went by the Swalberg name until she married Mr Hug.  When my sister Joy & I visited Edith and Gertrude in 1986 they spoke of their sister Bessie."
NOTE: History of Gertrude Swalberg Maxam describes Bessie Hug as a half sister.  She appears to be the child of Sarah & 2nd husband JAJ Fisk, but this bears further investigation to be sure.
