My Parish Register List by no means contains every event for every surname in every register. At some point in my life of going through parish registers, I got into the habit of extracting most--but not all--events containing my surnames: Bradley, Edgehill, Gill, Harrison, Herrington, Maud, Meggitt, Metcalf, Nelson, Pearson, Shaw, Thornton, and Waslin. I update the Parish Register List as research continues. My acquisition of some of these names is pretty recent, so you will find very few of them in the current Parish Register List.

This register was the first old handwriting I ever read--I'm sure I made many mistakes in my interpretation and intend to re-read it at some point.

While this book is a probate index, at the back of the book there are several pages of "Marriage Licence Received" notations for the year 1823 only. I searched for: Bradley, Gill, Harrison, Herrington, Maude, Meggitt, Metcalf, Nelson, Pearson, Shaw, Thornton, Waslin.

CERT - This notation before an entry refers to a Civil Registration certificate in my possession. Yes, I know Civil Registration certificates aren't parish registers, it's just that I have a few certificates and figure that this is as good place as any to share the information from them.
